2. Services

Encosta Azul offers tourist accommodation services, including:

• Room and apartment booking and management

• Guest portal for online check-in and stay management

• Complementary services (breakfast, transfer, laundry, room service)

• Virtual assistant (Lyra) for customer support

• Mobile application for accessing services

3. Bookings

By making a booking, the user declares that:

• They are at least 18 years of age

• The information provided is true and complete

• They accept the selected price, dates, and accommodation type conditions

The booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment or confirmation by Encosta Azul. Confirmation will be sent to the provided email address.

4. Prices and Payments

• Prices are displayed in Cape Verdean Escudos (CVE) and include VAT where applicable

• Tourist tax (as per Cape Verde legislation) is charged separately

• Accepted payment methods include: bank transfer, credit/debit card, payment on arrival, and online payment via Pagali

• Prices may be changed at any time, but confirmed bookings maintain the agreed price

5. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in: from 3:00 PM

• Check-out: until 11:00 AM

• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges

• A valid identification document (passport or identity card) is required at check-in

• Online check-in is available through the guest portal

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Free cancellation: up to 48 hours before the check-in date

• Late cancellation (less than 48 hours): the first night will be charged

• No-show: the full booking amount will be charged

• Refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the booking, within up to 14 business days

• In exceptional circumstances (natural disasters, health emergencies), special conditions may apply

7. House Rules

Guests agree to:

• Respect quiet hours after 10:00 PM

• Not smoke inside rooms and indoor areas

• Inform reception of any visitors

• Not hold parties or events without prior authorization

• Keep the facilities in good condition

• Return keys at check-out (lost key fee: 1,500 CVE)

• Respect other guests and accommodation staff

Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate termination of the stay, without the right to a refund.

8. Liability

• Encosta Azul is not responsible for valuables left in rooms. Use of the safe (when available) is recommended

• Damage caused to facilities by the guest will be charged accordingly

• Encosta Azul strives to maintain continuous availability of the website and app but does not guarantee uninterrupted service

• The virtual assistant Lyra provides support information but does not replace direct contact with the accommodation for critical matters

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the website and application (texts, images, logos, design) is the property of Encosta Azul or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization is prohibited.

The collection and processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at:

By making a booking, the user authorizes Encosta Azul to send email communications related to:

• Booking confirmation and details

• Check-in information and access instructions

• Operational communications during the stay

• Post-stay feedback requests

Users may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

12. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cape Verde. In case of dispute, the parties commit to attempting an amicable resolution. If not possible, the court of the district of Praia, Santiago, Cape Verde shall have jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

Encosta Azul reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the website. Continued use of services after publication constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
